Museum Sqaure

Looking for your culture fix? Museumplein is home to the iconic Rijksmuseum as well as the Van Gogh museum, Stedelijk museum and Moco museum and is surrounded by beautiful parks and gardens with a range of cafes and restaurants in the surroundings. A good time to rest and soak up the lively atmosphere.

The Museumplein also houses one of the world's finest concert halls in the world, Het Concertgebouw, where you can attend concerts, operas and other events.

Dam Square

One of the main squares of the city. The Dam links the streets Damrak and Rokin. Known as the streets Nieuwendijk, Kalverstraat and Damstraat end on the Dam. Significant buildings on the square are: Madame Tussauds Wax Statue Museum, Hotel Krasnapolsky, the Bijenkorf, the Royal Palace and the New Church. Do not miss the National Monument. This monument was established in 1956 to commemorate the victims of World War II.
