No car park of our own, but a Q-Park rate reserved for our guests at the Museumplein.
The hotel has no car park
De Pijp is a paid-parking zone and on-street spaces are scarce, so arriving by car takes a little planning. Almost nothing you have come to see needs one once you are here: the tram stops at the end of the street and the Museumplein is five minutes away on it.
A rate held for our guests
We have an arrangement with Q-Park, so there is a rate at the Q-Park Museumplein open only to people staying here, and booking it holds you a space rather than leaving you to find one.
The garage is at Van Baerlestraat 33 B, under the square with the museums on it, about twenty minutes on foot from the door or five minutes on tram 12. Book ahead on the page above and the barrier reads your number plate on the way in, so there is no ticket to take and nothing to keep hold of for three days.
The height limit is 1.90 metres, which a tall van or a roof box will not clear. There are 573 spaces and 24 charging points.
Or leave the car outside the city
Amsterdam's P+R sites sit on the ring road and are cheaper still, with public transport into town included in the price. Park there, take the metro or tram in, and the car stays put until you leave.
