We are the controller for the personal data described below. For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights set out under Your rights, email us at the address above or write to us at reception.
What this website collects
Analytics, only if you accept. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, which language, roughly where visitors are, and which "Book now" buttons are clicked. Analytics storage is switched off by default. Nothing is stored on your device until you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google receives a signal with no identifiers and no cookie is written.
Booking. Clicking any Book now button opens the Mews booking engine. Everything you type there, including your name, contact details and payment information, is collected and processed by Mews rather than by this website. Dates and guest numbers chosen in the search bar are passed to Mews in the page address; they identify nobody.
The map on our contact page. The contact page can show a Google Map, but it does not load one until you press Show the map. Until you do, nothing is requested from Google and no map cookies are set. Once you press it, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
Hosting and security. The site runs on Cloudflare, which sets a short-lived cookie to distinguish visitors from bots.
Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page opens.
Contacting us. If you email or telephone us, we keep what you send so we can answer you and, where it concerns a stay, attach it to your reservation.

Your choices
The cookie banner appears on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings at the foot of any page. Declining leaves analytics switched off; the site works normally either way.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and you may object to processing. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting anything done beforehand.
To make a request, email info@hotelatlantisamsterdam.com with enough detail for us to identify your records. We answer within one month, as the GDPR requires. If a request is complex we may extend that by a further two months and will tell you if we do.
If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
